Change your account settings

You can change the settings associated with your Idera Newsfeed account at any time. Use the General Settings and Notification Settings views to update your account information or tweak your current activity notifications.

From the General Settings view, you can:

• Update your real name. Each Newsfeed account requires a unique, real name.
• Change the profile name that coworkers use to mention you in posts or comments using SQLdm Mobile.
• Specify a different email address. You will use this email address to log in to the Newsfeed and SQLdm Mobile. The SQLdm Mobile & Newsfeed Service uses this email address to send you notifications.

To update other data, such as your preferred phone number, change your profile settings.

Access your account settings

In the Newsfeed menu bar of the SQLdm Console, click Account, and then click Account Settings. To edit your account, click change next to the setting you want to correct.
